Chef Kevin Ashford is the Director of Product Development at Catered Cakes, which is Atlanta's premier dessert catering company specializing in rich and delicious made-to-order desserts. Chef Kevin prepared a variety of his summer and tropical-flavored desserts, including his award-winning Key Lime Cake, and New Orleans Style Bread Pudding. Chef Jamarius Banks is a rising chef who was born in Atlanta, GA. His love for cooking began at a young age. During high school, he met his culinary role model, Chef G. Garvin. Upon finishing his degree from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Chefs Banks went on to win "Iron Chef International". He was also featured on Beat Bobby Flay. Chef JaQuez Cruse also known as "Chef Blu" is a professional chef at Blu Beyond Levels Unknown. He is a second-year participant at Family Food Fest Atlanta and was recommended by Dr. Johni of the Black Greek Letter Consortium. During the event, he cooked and served some of his specialty dishes including Grilled Chicken, Gold Standard Mac & Cheese, and Gold Standard Baked Beans. JaQuez Cruse
Chef Derrick Fowler of Derrick's Cake Delights specializes in alcohol-infused cakes, cookies, and cheesecakes that allow his clients to enjoy "drink & dessert" at the same time. Chef Derrick attended Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta, GA. Participants sampled some of his well-known desserts: Strawberry Daiquiri Cake and Sweet Potato Cheesecake. Chef Jarvis Talley is the owner of "Sweet Georgia Gold BBQ Sauce", a company based in Atlanta, GA. For years he has been perfecting his own special sauce. Family and friends always tell Chef Talley to sell his special sauce. After listening to their advice, he decided to invest and create his own company. Chef Johnnie Winston, III is the owner of a successful company called Exclusive Designs. His establishment is a full-service event planning and catering company that also specializes in floral arrangements and drapery. Chef Brittney Young is Executive Chef at Bleu Flame Caterings. Chef Brittney's talent and goals were discovered at the tender age of 7 years old when she made a batch of pancakes in her mother's kitchen. She attended the Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary in Atlanta and became a certified chef. She prepared Garlic Roasted Chicken and is working on a dessert line, catering company, and restaurant. The Cajun Guys are a group of fraternity chefs who will serve many of their favorite creole dishes. The Cajun Guys also known as Creole Culinary Club consists of Chef Kenneth Hinson, Chef James LaStrap, Chef Matthew McDonald, Chef Michael Rivers, and Chef Barnaby Washington.
